Operating Room Resource Team

Applied experience and ability as an Operating Room (OR) RN expert to support any surgery. Specialty needs served as a resource team member included robotic hepatobiliary (Da Vinci Xi model), ophthalmology, and vascular.

Travel Operating Room RN 

Served rural areas in Oregon and Washington, as well as Missoula, Montana, providing OR care pertaining to ear, nose, and throat; knee and hip replacement; shoulder and knee arthroscopies; robotic general and gynecology (Da Vinci Si model); oncology, urology, level II trauma center craniotomies, wound care under anesthesia, motor vehicle accidents, colorectal, orthopedics, pediatrics, and spine. 

Psychiatric Treatment 

For patients receiving progressive, biological interventional psychiatry treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety, established IV access, monitored vitals, and provided emotional support. 

Elderly Care

Provided in-home personal assistance, monitored changes in health, and offered heartfelt companionship to ensure the well-being of seniors in their most comfortable setting.   

Elective Treatment

Spent almost five years as an OR RN in an outpatient setting for specialties including bariatrics, pain management, plastics, and podiatry, while frequently filling the role of Charge Nurse, delegating tasks, creating staff schedules, and communicating with surgeons. Later, when serving patients in Montana, responded to community health needs as outlined by the Incident Command System, FEMA, as a COVID-19 tester. Collected samples and executed lab testing under strict infection control policies.
